Morri Sims is a painter, collagist, and mixed media artist. She is often described as a post-impressionist – expressionist due to vibrant colours, emotional brushstrokes, and symbolism within her work.
Morri lives and maintains a studio on the secluded Drayton Island, with her husband John and Cassie (their Blue Heeler pup). The island is located in the St John’s River (Florida, US) and is only accessible by boat or small ferry which runs limited hours twice a week.
Her work is in public, corporate, and private collections in the US and abroad. She participated in group and solo exhibitions in the US and abroad. ( Selected Exhibitions )
She accepts a limited number of commissioned work each year.
